The entrance to the Salt Valley is made through one of the old salt public stores called El Torco. During the implementation of the Master Plan it was fitted as a Attention and Interpretation Center. This is a two-story building shaped like inverted boat consisting of a large number of small layers of wood joined together with dovetail joints, so that it facilitates the formation of the curved surface of the ellipsoid.

Here the visitor can book a guided tour, get information on the Salt Valley through panels and multimedia, observe an exhibit with salts from the world, buy products related to Salt Valley or learn more about salt activity.
