Joanna Artieda

“Beauty, elegance, and perfection lie in the simplicity of life, and Añana salt crystals offer my pastries the sweetest luxury.”

Joanna Artieda received the award for the best national pastry work in Spain in 2018 and has trained in the best restaurants in France and Spain. In 2016 she was proclaimed Best Spanish Chef (the first woman to achieve that distinction). At the beginning of 2017, Pastry Revolution magazine included her in its list of the ’10 trend-setting desserts in the world’ and she landed in Barcelona to join the teaching team of Hoffman (1 Michelin star). In 2024 she has been named by the International Academy of French Gastronomy as the Best Pastry Chef in the World.

Throughout her career, she has won more than thirteen awards (two national finals at Madrid Fusión, the 2022 award for Navarrese gastronomy, etc.). Since 2017, she has continued working and developing her own brand and company, ‘JoannArtieda,’ through which she teaches international masterclasses at prestigious schools and provides numerous consulting and training services for companies dedicated to gastronomy or the world of sweets in different countries and continents, such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Mexico, Lebanon, Korea, Turkey, and Spain.

Joanna Artieda’s relationship with Añana Salt is not new. She has been using it in her creations for years “because it is an exceptional product, of great purity and produced by hand, which allows it to enhance the flavor of culinary creations.” Now, in recognition of that work, she becomes an official ambassador alongside other great international chefs.
