Valle Salado » Experiences » Adapted visit
The Añana Salt Valley is a cultural and natural salt landscape with more than 7,500 years of history and accessible to all audiences.
The adapted visit allows people with disabilities to take a specially designed tour that offers a complete experience: learn about the recovery process of the salt pans, understand why and how salt is produced, appreciate its unique fauna and flora, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of salt water in the Salt Spa.
In addition, we have two types of special adapted tours: one for motor disabilities and the other for the visually impaired.
The visit for the visually impaired is a tour specially designed to offer a complete experience: the visitor will be able to enter the Salt Valley to be surrounded by its sounds and atmosphere. Once inside, by means of a model specially designed for this purpose, visitors can learn about its unique architecture and the salt production process. You will also learn about the origin of salt water and its water system, interacting directly with it.
The motor disability tour is approximately 200 m long. It goes from the bottling area to discover the secrets of Añana Salt and the great international chefs who guarantee that it is one of the best salts in the world and reaches a platform where you can admire the beauty of this unique salt landscape in the world.
