Equality plan

The Equality Plan is based on the commitment of the Foundation’s management to the development of labor relations based on equality, quality employment and respect for diversity, in line with the compliance with the Organic Law 3/2007of March 22, on effective equality between women and men, Royal Decree-Law 6/2019of March 1, on “Urgent measures to guarantee equal treatment and equal opportunities in employment and occupation”, the Royal Decree 901/2020of October 13, which regulates equality plans and their registration and the Royal Decree 902/2020of October 13, on equal pay for men and women.

The purpose of Organic Law 3/2007 of March 22, 2007, for the effective equality of women and men is: “To give effect to the principle of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men”.

The AÑANA SALT VALLEY FOUNDATION – AÑANAKO GATZ HARANA FUNDAZIOA has created a Negotiating Commission (due to the fact that it does not have legal representation of the workers ) together with the unions of the sector that have responded to the Foundation’s call (CCOO and LAB). This Commission has negotiated and agreed this Equality Plan both from the legal framework and from the commitment of the team that integrates it.

The joint involvement of the Foundation’s management and staff throughout the process has ensured that the Equality Plan is an effective instrument for promoting a good working environment and improving the quality of life of the entire staff.
